While every household is a little different, 20 pounds of laundry is typically about 2–3 standard household loads of clothing. That could look like: Around 1 week of clothes for 1–2 people Several baskets of everyday clothing A mix of shirts, pants, pajamas, undergarments, and socks Heavier items like jeans, hoodies, towels, or bedding will weigh more and use up pounds faster than lightweight everyday clothing. 💛 Don’t stress too much about getting it perfect. Most members quickly get a feel for which plan fits their household, and we’re always happy to help adjust if needed!

Nope! We will handle weighing before it's washed and send you a message letting you know the weight recorded. Laundry is weighed at pick up and again once it reaches our washing facility. You are welcome to weight it on your own using a bathroom scale so you have an idea of how much laundry you are sending out but we will use our properly calibrated scales for all pricing and calculating of laundry weights.

Extra pounds are billed at the member overage rate: $1.75/lb They will be charged to the card on file. If they are unpaid before your next service, your service will be put on hold until they are paid in full. If you continually go over your limit we may suggest upgrading your plan to one better suited for your needs.

Absolutely — you can switch plans anytime. Just contact us by phone or email to request the upgrade. You can also manage your subscription by logging into your account.

We totally understand — life happens! 💛 All Suds Club plans include weekly pickup service, but if you need to skip a week, just let us know in advance. Weekly billing members can pause their service as needed and will not be charged for skipped weeks. Monthly and annual members are billed in advance, so skipped weeks are converted into an account credit instead of being lost. Any credits on your account will automatically be applied toward future overages or additional laundry charges. If you end your membership with a remaining account credit balance, it will be refunded to you after your final billing cycle and any outstanding overages have been processed. If your service bills and you are unable to use it due to being out of town you may gift your service to a friend or family member in the Springfield area. Just contact us and provide us with their contact info so we can schedule their service. If they join the Suds Club after using your gift we will give you a complementary week of service.
