Make Every Pickup Smooth, Simple, and Stress-Free

We want every laundry pickup to feel effortless and every delivery to feel like magic. Here are a few quick tips to help make your laundry day a total success with Suds on Your Duds! 💛🧺✨

🧺 1. Bag Your Laundry Before Pickup

Please have all laundry placed in:

• Garbage bags (13–30 gallon)

• Laundry bags you already own

We will label each bag at pickup so your items stay organized from start to finish.

Pro Tip: If you have multiple categories (like bedding vs clothing), feel free to separate by bag — it speeds things up and keeps folds extra crisp.

📏 2. Place Laundry Somewhere Easy to Access

Your pickup window is small — help us keep things smooth by choosing a convenient spot such as:

• Front porch

• By your door

• Inside a covered entry

• At your apartment door

• With the concierge or leasing office (if applicable)

If you prefer contactless and want to leave it somewhere specific, just note it in the booking!

👖 3. Check All Pockets

Please remove:

• Pens

• Markers

• Lip balms

• Crayons

• Makeup

• Cash & cards

• Headphones, receipts, keys

• Vapes (yes, it happens!)

These items cause some of the most common laundry mishaps.

🧼 4. Separate Delicates or Special-Care Items

If anything needs extra attention, please place it in a separate smaller bag and label it:

• Hang Dry

• Delicate

• Do Not Tumble

• Cold Wash Only

• Stain Treatment Needed

Or just write it on a sticky note or scrap paper in the bag.

We’ll take it from there!

✨ 5. Tell Us About Stains

We’re happy to help — but the faster we know, the better. If you have stains that need extra attention, please:

• Point them out in your booking notes,

• Or bag that garment separately to signal “special care.”

This ensures we don’t miss anything important.

🧦 6. Keep High-Value Items Out of the Bag

Please remove:

• Sentimental/irreplaceable clothing

• Vintage items

• Expensive dry-clean-only pieces

• Delicate specialty fabrics

We want to help you keep those safe!

💛 7. Include Any Special Notes

You can add notes at booking or text us anytime with preferences like:

• Hypoallergenic detergent

• Fragrance-free wash

• No fabric softener

• Temperature preferences

• Folding preferences (Classic fold, rolled towels, etc.)

We love making laundry personal to you.

🏡 8. Make Sure We Have Access

If you live in a gated building, apartment complex, or have an entry code, please make sure:

• Gate codes are correct

• Door codes are included in your booking

• Leasing office/concierge knows we’re coming (if needed)

This prevents missed pickups and delays.

🚫 9. Items We Cannot Wash

Please keep these out of your laundry bag:

• Dry-clean-only clothing

• Leather, suede, or fur

• Moldy or heavily soiled items

• Items contaminated with bodily fluids

• Pet bedding that is extremely dirty or heavily shed

We’ll return unsafe or inappropriate items unwashed.

🧮 10. Understand Weight-Based Billing

We weigh your laundry before washing. This keeps pricing consistent and transparent. You will receive a Price Quote with your total upfront before we will begin washing so there are no surprises. Simply approve the quote and you will automatically be sent the invoice to pay. Payment must be completed before we will begin washing your clothes. To avoid delaying your wash, your prompt attention to settling your payment is greatly appreciated.

If you’re a Suds Club member and exceed your weekly limit, extra pounds are billed at $1.75/lb. and will be invoiced. All outstanding balances must be paid before your next service or your pick up will be paused.
